Ben Parkinson Casting Workshops team consists of some of the most experienced and talented people in the film and television industry in Queensland. Our team works to develop and empower actors in the casting room, a film or television set.
Ben Parkinson is a Casting Director and has been in the business for over twenty years with extensive experience across the film and television industry. Ben has worked from New York across to LA and Australia-wide. Projects include major Motion Pictures, Indie Films, Local and International Television Commercials as well as Music Videos. Ben’s unique eye for casting and his compassion for each project have made him one of Australia’s highly accomplished Casting Directors.
Michelle Clancy is the Head of our Commercial Division. Michelle’s experience in the Film and TV industry spans over 20+ years, 18 of which have been here at Ben Parkinson Casting. Her experience has seen her cast over 800 campaigns including many worldwide release campaigns. Michelle has cast jobs all across Australia and extending to New Zealand on a few campaigns. She has a great ability to bring out the best performances in talent with her nurturing nature and is greatly loved by our adult and child actors alike.
Joey Vieira has over 25 years in the entertainment industry, and is not only a seasoned actor but also a dedicated mentor, helping the next generation of performers sharpen their craft for film and television. Holding a BA in Theatre from California State University, Northridge, and a two-year diploma in the Meisner technique, Joey brings a wealth of experience to his weekly acting for camera classes. His approach blends technique with practical on-set insights, guiding actors to deliver compelling, authentic performances.
On Screen Casting Workshop
SCHOOL HOLIDAY ON SCREEN AUDITION WORKSHOP
Designed for emerging actors, this course will help you build confidence, sharpen your craft and gain a clear understanding of the casting process all while preparing to work in Southeast Queensland’s booming film and television industry.

Dates and Times : course is one day session 9-12am or 2-5pm on Tuesday 6 January.

Weekly sessions over four weeks every month, starting the first week of every month – limited spots available. Monday and Wednesday nights.
LOCATION
Ben Parkinson Casting. Level 1, 815a Stanley Street, Woolloongabba. There is plenty of paid meter parking surround the studio.PUBLIC TRANSPORT - Buses from various parts of the city are available to Woolloongabba. There are train stations in surrounding suburbs but the Gabba station has not opened yet.
GABBA EVENT PARKING - Please check for events as there is parking restrictions commencing two hours before GATES OPEN (not start of event).
